What kind of documents is this built for?
Anything where a batch of scanned or digital pages actually contains several separate documents mixed together — invoices with different numbers, case files, medical records, employee applications — and you'd otherwise have to split and rename them by hand.
Does it work on scanned documents?
Yes, pages without a real text layer are automatically read with OCR, so scanned batches work the same as digital ones.
Can I save my setup to reuse later?
Yes, templates — your fields, grouping rules, and filename pattern — can be saved on your device and reused or edited next time.
What happens to pages that don't match any group?
They're shown separately as "unassigned" so you can review and fix their field values before building the final files — nothing is silently dropped.
