Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between this and using the individual tools?
The individual tools (Merge, Rotate, Delete, and so on) are faster for a single, one-off change. PDF Workspace is for when you need to combine several of those in one pass — say, merging two files, fixing a rotated page, and adding a watermark — without downloading and re-uploading between each step.
Can I add more files partway through?
Yes, an "Add more files" option lets you bring in additional PDFs or images at any point before you build the final output.
Does compressing here work the same as the standalone Compress PDF tool?
Yes, the same underlying rasterization — pages are converted to images to shrink the file, so text won't be selectable in the final output if compression is turned on.
Can I mix PDFs and images in the same session?
Yes — drop in both PDFs and images; images are automatically converted into pages alongside everything else.
